My Kandinsky Story

Wasley Kandinsky was born in Moscow, Russia on December 16 1866.
His mother was a homemaker and his father was a tea merchant.

From an early age Wasley exhibited a special gift called synaesthesia cognate.
This gift gave him the ability to hear colour and see sounds.

Kandinsky studied economics and laws at University of Moscow before he became a professor. Three years later he moved to Munich,Germany and started to study about art. Initially Kandinsky was interested in creating sketches of human bodies.

Once the First World War started Kandinsky moved from Germany to Switzerland and lastly he returned back to his homeland Moscow.He used colours and continued creating impressionist artworks.

After the the First World War Kandinsky went back to Germany and started drawing abstract art, straight lines,curve,circles and all sorts of shapes.


Kandinsky traveled for the last time to France in 1933 when the Nazis took over his art school. Wassily lived there until he died in 1944.

My Composition IV Story

   

COMPOSITION IV



Composition IV has got mixed colors. It also has swirling and soaring lines.

The painting is divided in the center strongly by a thick black sword that splits it into two parts. On the right hand side is the calm side. On the left hand side is the side that is having a battle.


The painting has two big lines and then there is two red dots.These dots are soldiers that are leaning on their black swords. Then there is are third white bearded cossack that is leaning on his purple sword.Below on the left side there are two boats and a rainbow. On the right side there are two people lying down on top of a hill and above them is a castle and two priests and behind the castle is a blue mountains.

My Swimming Story

What would swimming in 2012 be like?Well we are going to find out now.
Nothing excites me more then swimming.  Finally it was our turn,we were off to swimming. Filled with anticipation,we walked to the pools.   
I was freezing cold after coming out of the shower. Hopping into the pools for my lessons was cool.  Playing around in the pool after I had done my first lesson was fun. Ohh and it was also fun because me and my friend Jordan were doing mermaid swims under the water.  I liked it at the pool until we had to get out.
That was the only thing that made so sad.

My Tissue Flower

Carefully I painted my background and waited patiently for it to dry.

Making the shapes of the flower was a bit difficult for me to do.

Small bits of glue was what I used to stick the parts of the flower
together onto the cardboard.

In the morning I painted my flower with dark colors that made it
look beautiful.
