Practice re-crafting Aldoras Paragraph

Today we practiced recrafting a piece of writing.The first paragraph belongs to Aldora and the second one is mine.

As we were getting near some more puddles, I realised that the track was dangerous. Jogging carefully down the slippery stairs I nearly slipped but luckily I held onto the tree. I was happily saved by the tree.


As I ran up towards the stairs, I reached some-more muddy puddles.Looking down at my shoes, they were all dirty and gross.  “Wow this is a very scary and yucky race” I thought to myself as I ran through the squishy grass.

WHAT DID I ENJOY??

I enjoyed painting,drawing and also the art activities that we did.

THINGS I DIDN’T ENJOY??

What I didn’t enjoy was having to stop painting and drawing.

WHAT DID I LEARN??

The thing that I learn’t more about was Kandinsky and his artworks.

HOW DO I FEEL ABOUT MY TERM OVERALL??

Overall I feel really amazed that we had this awesome term.

WHAT DID I FIND MOST INTERESTING??

What I found interesting was learning more about art.

WHAT COULD I HAVE  BETTER TO HELP MY LEARNING??

I could have worked better on cleaning  my mess after painting.

I love making music beats at school and lots of places.
I made my music beats from this instrument thing witch

It is awesome because it has lots of different instrument.

My Reflection Story

When I was painting my artwork I kept working hard so I can finish my artwork. I followed the instructions that my teacher told me to do. During my painting I accidentally put two of the pink next to each other when I wasn’t allowed to. I definitely used clear bold black lines to help me colour my parts separately.Gently I blended my colors with water to make it go dark the light so it looks beautiful.


The thing that I did well was blending the colors together to make it look pretty not ugly and horrible.I need to work better on putting the colors separately in different places so it does not look ugly.What I was enjoying when I was painting was that we got to blend the colors with water.The thing that I did not enjoy was that we had to draw different shapes and lines.The thing that was so hard to do right was making it go dark then light.
My artwork looked incredible and amazing.

My Kandinsky Story

Wasley Kandinsky was born in Moscow, Russia on December 16 1866.
His mother was a homemaker and his father was a tea merchant.

This gift gave him the ability to hear colour and see sounds.

Kandinsky studied economics and laws at University of Moscow before he became a professor. Three years later he moved to Munich,Germany and started to study about art. Initially Kandinsky was interested in creating sketches of human bodies.

Once the First World War started Kandinsky moved from Germany to Switzerland and lastly he returned back to his homeland Moscow.He used colours and continued creating impressionist artworks.

After the the First World War Kandinsky went back to Germany and started drawing abstract art, straight lines,curve,circles and all sorts of shapes.


Kandinsky traveled for the last time to France in 1933 when the Nazis took over his art school. Wassily lived there until he died in 1944.

My Composition IV Story

   

COMPOSITION IV



Composition IV has got mixed colors. It also has swirling and soaring lines.

The painting is divided in the center strongly by a thick black sword that splits it into two parts. On the right hand side is the calm side. On the left hand side is the side that is having a battle.


The painting has two big lines and then there is two red dots.These dots are soldiers that are leaning on their black swords. Then there is are third white bearded cossack that is leaning on his purple sword.Below on the left side there are two boats and a rainbow. On the right side there are two people lying down on top of a hill and above them is a castle and two priests and behind the castle is a blue mountains.

My Swimming Story

What would swimming in 2012 be like?Well we are going to find out now.
Nothing excites me more then swimming.  Finally it was our turn,we were off to swimming. Filled with anticipation,we walked to the pools.   
I was freezing cold after coming out of the shower. Hopping into the pools for my lessons was cool.  Playing around in the pool after I had done my first lesson was fun. Ohh and it was also fun because me and my friend Jordan were doing mermaid swims under the water.  I liked it at the pool until we had to get out.
That was the only thing that made so sad.

My Tissue Flower

Carefully I painted my background and waited patiently for it to dry.

Making the shapes of the flower was a bit difficult for me to do.

Small bits of glue was what I used to stick the parts of the flower
together onto the cardboard.

In the morning I painted my flower with dark colors that made it
look beautiful.

Melted Crayon Story

Yesterday was an amazing and incredible day for my class because we got to make a picture that matches our topic for this term. The name of your term is ART ALIVE!!!!.

First we got a Canvas and a medium box of crayons from my teacher. Our job was to glue the crayons in order from light to dark, but as we say, warm to cold, onto a piece of cardboard. Gluing the colourful crayons onto the cardboard was a bit hard because the crayons that we used were skinny.
                                       

Painting the stencil was easy but it could have been hard for me to do. It was kind of fun when I was painting it because I got paint on my hands. While I was painting the rest of the parts Miss King came by and said to me “Good job painting it carefully Jennifer” and after she said that I laughed.

Finally my group got to melt the crayons with a hair dryer. It was cool but I had to hold the cardboard because when the crayons were melting they were getting very hot. It was also amazing because the colourful blending colours were dripping down and they hardened very quickly.


Our artwork looked awesome and fantastic at the end. The dripping lines of crayon looked so cool 
and amazing.
