Today we were learning about film making. My teacher gave us a link that led to a film making activity. It is like a game because you have to guess what shot do you use.
The awesome thing is that you get to make your own movie with  the shot you know.

My Red & Yellow Maths

Today we have been trying to find out how may Red & Yellow counters are in a bag. We knew there were 5 in there but not how many of each. So we recorded what our teacher was pulling out of the bag each time. We did 50 draws and recorded our results. 

This is the pie chart of our results from the 50 draws. We predicted that there were 3 yellow and 2 red counters in the bag and we were 70% certain. We were correct.

My Will.I.Am Story

Yesterday, a very famous & special person came to my school. He was a person from a band called BLACK EYED PEAS...... It was exciting to see him (which is WILL.I.AM). As he was walking in, everyone started scream and yelling “WILL.I.AM”........ When he was walking to sit down, people were looking at him while the client, assistant or something was taking pictures and videos of us.

          There were 9 different school at my school. There was ST PIUS, TAMAKI PRIMARY, TAMAKI COLLEGE, TAMAKI INTERMEDIATE, GLEN BRAE and other ones that I don’t remember. We said “WELCOME WILL.I.AM” then he said ”TTTHHHAAANNNKKK YYYOOOUUU”.

          While we were sitting down, we were all listening to what he was talking about. What he was talking about, was about his life before he was famous. He said to us that when he was young, he 

grew up in a very poor place at Los Angeles, California which is East La. His mum raised him and his brothers and sisters by herself.......

          He didn't get to meet his dad and his mum didn’t have a job and they had no money. I felt very sad when he told all of us that. He also said that he was born and raised in housing projects which is like state funding. While he was talking, he told us that he came to see us because he was interested in our learning.

          Before he talked, our Pounamu group performed in front of him from FiaFia night..... Then  came up was the senior Hip Hop group from FiaFia too. During the dance, it looked like he was really enjoying the entertainment. After his talk, he showed us an enormous cheque that was for us and it was 100,000 DOLLARS.

        WILL.I.Am, said that he wants to go back to school to learn more about things that we learn about like computers and other things. When he handed over the big cheque, this man called Mr Snedden went and shaked his hand and also said thanks for the money. After that a woman from Hallenstein Brothers came and said a mihi to him in english and then gave him a Green Stone necklace. It was like a rectangle size and it was pretty.

          Later on it was finished and people started leaving to their classes. My teacher said that if we are lucky,WILL.I.AM  might come to our class and see what we are doing. So a few classes later he came with his crew and my Principal Mr Burt. Some of us tried stay calm and over exciting about him. I really liked his boots. As I looked up at him, he was wearing the Green Stone that he got given.

          When he was looking around, our music teacher Miss Muliaumaseali'i was recording them walking around.As he was looking around the class room, he saw that everyone was working hard and focusing on there work to finish it. He was excited when I looked at his face because he was smiling while he was looking. After looking he left and everyone was yelling out”BYE WILL.I.AM” and then he said bye back to us and went.

           I had a great time seeing him at our school.

My Antarctica Sea Graph

Today I learnt that in Antarctica Ocean it gets warmer and warmer the deeper you go. I also found out that on the bottom of the Antarctica Ocean there is coral living and growing there.

This afternoon I have been learning how to take core sample. We took samples from a cupcake and guessed what the core was. In real life geologist take sample from underneath the land.

My Story About My Aunty

       On the 15 of may 2013, my aunty came to my nan's house to say good bye because she was leaving to Tonga. We were all sad because she has been here for about 7 years. All those years she's been her, she has been dreaming about her kids & husband at Tonga so that is why she wants to go Tonga.

      When we were talking about what she is going to do when she gets there, my grandpa said to pray about my aunty Ofa when she goes Tonga so we did. So we prayed and after that we ate food and fruit so we don't get hungry as. After that, We said good bye to her so she can go home and pack the rest of her things.

       During the saying good bye thing, we started crying because we will miss her when she leaves. It felt so emotional so all of us started crying. Watching them cry made me cry more and more. While we were crying our tears out. my mum called my aunty to come so they can go home and get her stuff ready for the next day.

       As they were leaving we were still crying and we couldn't stop crying. We were crying for a very long time because we were thinking of the good times that we had with her. We really missed so bad that when we went to sleep we had dreams about her.

       I had a very emotional night and also a very sad night. We were really sad because she was leaving. I did have a great time with her and a really awesome day too.

My Story about going to my brother's boxing fight.

On the 20 of April 2013 my family went to see my brother's boxing fight. It happened at Mt Eden. It was a very long way from Mangere to Mt Eden. During the ride, me and my sister's were singing the songs from our Rihana CD. When we got there it started pouring rain above of us.

    My dad was waiting outside for us to come and get our tickets to get past the security. The tickets were small, red and shiny. Going to take my seat, boys from my dad gym kept on saying "SUP SNOOPY & SUP SNOPP DOGGY DOGG"  and as they were saying that I was embarrassed because people were looking at me.

    Sitting down and looking at the people, they were starring back at us like they don't even like us but they haven't met us before. As we were watching the fight, my mum got hungry and told us to go to the  Cafe and the Bakery to get 2 pies and 3 cans of drinks. We got the money and walked up the stairs to the Cafe & the Bakery and them then came back and sat down and ate.

     When we were walking to go and sit down, people that were sitting next to the door to go to the Bakery, they kept on starring at us. Dangerously when my little sister went to sit down, she fell and almost tipped her drink on the floor in front of everyone. As we were watching it was time for my friend Megan to fight. She walked to the training room, got changed then went to the ring to have a fight.

     I was so excited and couldn't wait to see her fight because she looks cool when she is fighting. While my friend Megan was fighting, I heard people shouting out to Megan and saying :GO MEGAN GO MEGAN" so I just copied them and started cheering. After her fight it was a 10 minute brake so, my mum said to go and 3 cans again and 3 packets of medium Bluebird chips so I went and came back.

     While we were eating, my mum remembered that she brought a can of peanuts. So we at everything but saved some of the can drinks and some of the chips. After that, my mum said to go and get one more can drink...... When I came back my chips was almost finished because my mum and my big sister ate it.

     It was time for my brothers fight..... I couldn't wait to see him fight. During the fight, me my mum, my little sister, my big sister, my brother and my dad were yelling crazy and saying "GO ERIC". After my brother fight, me, my mum, my sisters, my brother and my cousin was leaving because we were tired.

      We asked my brother Eric if he wants to go and he said he wants to stay and check if he is going to China. So we left home but first we went and got Chicken Nibbles. We went home and ate it then we went and dropped my cousin off to his house. After that we went home and took a sleep.

My Story About my cousins coming back from Tonga

On Saturday 13 of April, my cousins just came back from Tongan. There names are Sabrina & Windy...... Sabrina is 7 and Windy is 5. First I missed them and then I couldn't wait to see them. I was so excited to see them so I went upstairs to my big sister and sat there and listen to music.

   All of a sudden I heard my cousin Paula talking to my little sister so that mean't that my cousins are here. I ran down stairs and started hugging them crazy. They looked so beautiful and tall once I looked at them. Suddenly I saw that they disappeared with my little sister to the park at my street.

   I was so worried that they must have ran away somewhere that we cant find them. My uncle (Which is there dad) he was so worried because when he called there names they did not answer back to him. So he asked us where they were and we said that they are at h park playing with Lisa (My sister).

   Some how my cousin Paula got angry about something and told us to call them in. When they came in my mum called them and told them to come and get change. My mum changed there t-shirt to a tongan t-shirt that said Princess on it then she changed there pants to black tights. They looked so so pretty after they got changed.

   I really enjoyed seeing my cousins and I also had a great time with them.

My Pirate story

There was a day where pirate’s started to exist in this world. Currently, ever since the pirates came pirates started to die because of this mean PIRATE.

  “The name is Captain mean pant’s”... She said, the meanest pirate who ever lived. I hate people that are kind but I like people that are mean and vicious. I behave like a horrible person because I spit on peoples faces & mouths, I kill them and I chuck them into the dungeon. I still peoples treasure and put them in the room that is in my ship.

One day I Captain Mean Pant’s went with my pirate crew and versed another pirate crew. The captain for there team was so vicious that he forces people to be a pirate for his team. His people are so scared of him because he is so ugly, horrible, disgusting and mean.

While they were fighting, some of my men went and stole all their treasure at the same time as when the captain came and forte me. I lost the fight against the captain. There captain tied me up with a rope. She the other captain just let me watch her still my gold.

I suddenly shouted, “What do you think you're doing with my gold?” the captain replied and said “Arrr What does it look like fool, i’m still all your gold”. “Noooooo!!!!” I yelled “Stop taking my gold”.Ooooh wait I said in my head, I have my little knife up in my hat. Lucky I just remembered about it so now I can cut the rope while he is not looking.

I grabbed another rope and swung it over that captains head and said, “Stop stealing my treasure”. Later on I dumped him in the dungeon. I got all my gold back and I told all the pirates that was in the other captain team that you have to come and join my team before we chuck  you into the dungeon with your captain.

So they joined and we continued fighting other pirates and stealing their treasure. Then we forte happily ever after.
